Hostel Durres

As young people, we loved the friendly and accommodating team at the hostel. Their fluent English made communication easy, and they were like a little family. the location is perfect, right by the main square, and the building itself is like an oasis in the middle of the noisy city. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with a chilled vibe. the breakfast was a pleasant surprise, always fresh and different each day. the spacious common areas gave us plenty of places to hang out and meet other travelers. a super enjoyable place for young people.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hostel in the city center for a few days. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen and living room area with a chimney were great for relaxing and socializing. The beds were comfortable and spacious, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the hostel had a fantastic rooftop with breathtaking views of the main square. It's conveniently located close to shops and major historic spots, making it easy to explore the city. The staff and managers were multilingual, and there was even a ping pong table in the garden to unwind.

The cleaning staff could be rude and wake guests up early in the morning, even if they had booked for multiple days. The check-out time of 10:30 AM was too early and caused inconvenience for many travelers.

I had such an incredible time at this hostel! The staff were so knowledgable and generous with their time, always going above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. They even let me switch rooms to one that smelled better and gave me a discount. The homemade apple pie they shared was absolutely delicious. They were so helpful, carrying my suitcase and even walking me to the bus when it was time to leave. I can't recommend this place enough for its friendly atmosphere and fantastic location near all the sights. Super accommodating and welcoming!

This unique hostel has a cool location and a great vibe. the tasty breakfast, daily cat visits, and welcoming atmosphere make it a calm and enjoyable stay. the staff goes above and beyond, creating bizarre and laugh-inducing situations that bring people together. It's easily accessible from the port and the peaceful garden is perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

The bed was uncomfortable and the room looked like it was falling apart. the bathrooms were in serious need of upgrades.

I had a great experience at a hostel in an excellent location in Durres. the room and bed were clean, and although the shower and WC were shared, they were well-maintained. the hostel staff, including the owner Benn, were helpful and friendly. the hostel felt like home, with a kitchen and refrigerator available for use. the atmosphere was enjoyable, with friendly people around and volunteers who went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. I would definitely come back.

With everything close by, you won't have to go far to find what you need. the staff are friendly and always available for a chat, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with the option of a small heater provided during colder months.

The dorm rooms can get quite hot during the summer, and the noise from the fan can be disruptive at night.
